In accordance with “Regulations on Tourism tax imposition”, tourism tax is levied on three-star, four-star, five-star and five-star deluxe hotels, three-star and four-star apartment hotels, restaurants*, night clubs, bars, and establishment of saunas, massage parlours, health clubs and karaoke lounges, whereas two-star hotels, economical accommodation establishments, simple catering establishments and catering stalls at food courts are exempted from tourism tax. *Restaurants are exempted from tourism tax in 2023.
