  • How to apply

    Year 2021:

    Application period: Application shall be submitted no earlier than 120 days and no later than 60 days prior to the activity takes place.

    Application procedures and required documents :

    1. Completed application form
    2. Application letter;
    3. Activity details;
    4. Photocopy of venue rental / usage confirmation;
    5. Photocopy of quotations;
    6. Photocopy of the latest Association Registration Certificate issued by the Identification Bureau and the list of the management members (Associations)/Photocopy of the institution’s establishment registration document and registration certificate (Institutions)/ Photocopy of a valid Macao SAR Resident Identity Card (Individual);
    7. Photocopy of the document of its establishment published on the Official Bulletin.

    Application period:

    Specific Financial Support Program for “Community Economic Tourism Development”: 20 September 2021 to 15 October 2021

    Application procedures and required documents:

    Procedure: During the application period, the applicant shall make a one-time application for the activities/projects to be carried out through the online application system. The completed application form then must be printed, signed and stamped, and submitted in person to the Macao Government Tourism Office.

    Required documents:

    1. Basic information:
      1. Application form for the Specific Financial Support Program for “Community Economic Tourism Development”;
      2. Detailed activity / project proposal and details of estimated budget revenue and expenditure;
      3. Photocopy of the up-to-date Association Registration Certificate and management members list issued by the Identification Bureau (During the effective term of the office, all management members should have submitted valid identification documents to the Identification Bureau);
      4. Photocopy of the document of its establishment published on the Official Bulletin;
      5. “Receipt of Payment by Automatic Bank Transfer” form together with the required application documents (Only applicable to first time applicants or those updating their information).
    2. Useful information to facilitate assessment:
      1. Indicate the methods on how to attract visitors to participate in the activity / project;
      2. A description of the economic benefits generated by the activity/project and the calculation basis;
      3. Photocopies of the quotations of the expenditure items, including but not limited to promotion, equipment set-up and dismantling, venue set-up and dismantling, performance, staff (e.g. emcee, public relations, filming, security, etc.), transportation, venue rental and insurance.

    Fees: Free of charge.


    Time for processing

    Year 2021:

    15 working days from the next day upon submission of the application with all necessary documents. (Performance pledge)

    2. Except for reasons of force majeure, should there be any need for changes or cancellation of the activity, the applicant shall, at least 10 days prior to the activity is carried out, submit the Activity Changes Form and additional information for consideration and approval. MGTO will re-evaluate the activity based on the proposed changes.
    3. Subsidized entities are required to submit the Activity Report Form and its relevant documents within 30 days  upon completed  the activity or finalized the research project. In case the subsidized entity its not in condition to submit the report within the 30 days after completed the activity, may submit the Deferment of Activity Report Application Form and related declaration with reasonable cause at least 5 days prior to the report submission deadline. If the application is approved, then a maximum period of 60 days extension will be given to submit the report; shall the deferment application is not submitted within 5 days prior to the report submission deadline, this application will be rejected.

    Enquiry on application status: Application progress can be checked via telephone or email.

    Way to obtain application result: Collect the confirmation letter in person, or by post or email.
