Macau has successfully won the bid to host the meeting of WTO Regional Commission for East Asia and the Pacific in 2004. This not only marks a closer tie between Macau and WTO, but that Macau's attempt to establish itself as the undisputed MICE (meeting, incentive, conference, exhibition) center takes a giant stride forward.
WTO Regional Commission for East Asia and the Pacific has announced in Manila yesterday (19th) that the meeting of WTO Regional Commission for East Asia and the Pacific in 2004 will be held in Macau. In conjunction with the meeting, an international conference with the theme "Heritage" will also be organized.
